Lifting Each Other Up

Hi everybody,

I know its been awhile since I written a post. This one is about lifting each other up. We should lift each other up. As I grew up I notice that people of color are having a hard time congratulating people or just being happy about d someone else's well being. I just don't get it. In the so-called minority communities I have noticed that no one is supporting one another. This is very dominant in the black community.

I did a previous blog about status. See this world goes by status. What do you have? How much money do you have? This is nonsense. We need to be more supportive of each other. We have to be. We see the Caucasian race excelling in the matrix and we want to be just like them or excel like them. We do not have to be just like them to make it.

We need to first start supporting our own people by supporting our own businesses. We see the Asian communities and Latino communities do this we need to support our own no matter what.

Secondly, as stated in a previous blog, support our children. Whatever they want to do let's support and not compare them to there brothers or sister or cousins. This kills trust quick with kids. This is a crucial time for them. Many still don't know what they want to do in life, just continue to be supportive and don't suggest any high paying jobs. Teenagers these days don't want to here it.

Lastly, be proud of your cultural background. God gave us beautiful culture from all over the world. We must be proud of having such a rich culture and stop trying to change it to please the Caucasian race. Nobody cares what they think. Just know that our culture is rich and go out there and own it.

Four hundred years we didn't have anything, we must be able to see past our scars and know that we are beautiful. We have to lift each other up. Support each other help each other strive because nobody else is going to help us out.

God Bless.

The Art of Disowning

I'm pretty sure that there is someone who have heard this in their lives or this be said to another in the family. This statement has been heard from all over the world. If you don't make the money for the family to look good or bragging rights than it's:

I Disown You.

My first reaction is What?! How could anyone disown a child just because they want to live their lives and not live it exactly as the family wants them too. Since when does the family decides for the child on certain things. Deep down, that hurts and lives permanent emotional and psychological scars. Just because they want to do something that does not require a lot of money. Money does not define the character of a child, a teen nor a young adult. Now they have to walk with that scar for the rest of their lives.

So they study all those hours and making straight A's and B's in school trying to make sure that they get the families approval because they want to be accepted by their parents. They even study things that they don't particularly like in the first place to get that approval. A family's approval means a lot to a kid.

They finally graduate with the degree that they have and they spring onward to college. However, in the back of their minds they still hear the echos of the "I Disown You" statement. This brings more stress for any person. Regardless of the age:

Even with that, they still visit family and they still try their best to fit in and then here comes the comparisons: "your brother, your cousin, your sister, your friend's mother's brother's son is doing well. They just got a new house, they live out there in the suburbs of California and they just go promoted to a CEO position." I know I'm exaggerating a little bit but you guys get the idea. This adds more pressure because under handily that's like saying, "see I know you wouldn't amount up to nothing. There is always someone that's going to be better than you."

And they make an earnest living. It may not be as ideal as the family would want them to have but they are working things out. They try their best every day with what they got. Regardless of education status or whatever the case may be. That's why its essential to be sure that we support them no matter what their situation is. No one wants to be disowned. Everyone wants love and support in whatever they are doing. We have to be positive towards one another and not feeding all that negative energy.

This is what feeds insecurities like crazy. This is the what creates insecurities. We have all kinds of beautiful people. All shapes and sizes and shades of color going out there breaking their necks from all over the world to achieve this so called "American Dream":

This doesn't build our character at all. I have seem people with the most unattractive attitudes with the most biggest houses and well polished cars. This is a fake reality that our people have been sucked in to believe. As long as you have these things you are a star. You are someone. You will leave a legacy. This is NOT True.

Only YOU. YOU ARE THE LEGACY! Not the house. Not the car. Not the taxes. Not the job. Nothing that has anything to deal with what is outside of your skin. That doesn't build character nor self-identity. Only you. What you stand for and what you believe in that's where the Legacy resides. At the end of the day, when it's even 10 years after you leave the world and all you have is stuff to give to your kids and grand kids, they usually don't care about the stuff that you give because there is no Legacy in those things. It is you that they will share memories of and not your stuff. Remember, You are the Legacy.

So all of this disowning stuff needs to stop. There is nothing wrong with a child persuing whatever they have a deep interest for. I understand that you want them to have an important income but that only creates misery if they are not doing what they want to do. Same goes for you to. Persue what you want to pursue. It doesn't matter what it is as long as it makes you happy. Do not worry about those who are brainwashed to think that the American Dream is all you need. Have your own dreams. Everything else will fall into place. Remember to encourage one another because it starts at a very young age:

The Youth are very impressionable and takes everything to heart so we need to start off by being positive and supportive. That's how we can see changes. God supports us in everything that we want to do, have interest in, or are currently doing or pursuing. Even when we are babies. From Childhood to the Elderly. So we should support each other too. There are more important things than living the "American Dream".

Peace.

Minorities = Majority

For all of our lives here in America, we were told that we are the Minorities. How is that? I don't understand that at all. Just because we are labeled "Minorities" does that give the so-called "Majority" the right to look down upon us? I don't think so. As I look at our communities today, nation wide. I don't see anything that relates to us being the "Minority", what so ever. As Hebrews, we have been scattered from all over the world. And we really are the Multitude on this planet. This is another way to divide us once again. The took all of the colored nationalities or colored race and broke them down into different ethnic groups based on the location and language.

Based on the shade ofour colored skin and our geographic features we are broken up into the following minority ethnic groups:

Black/ African/ African-American

Spanish/Hispanic/Latino

Asian/Pacific Islander
Native American

All of us have been put inside of a minority group based off our geographic background and our shades of our skin. Back in History, way before there was a Christopher Columbus, we traveled all over the place and trade and shared culture. We didn't look at each other as a minority group sharing with another minority group we seen each other as family. We don't get a chance to do this everyday without some type of stereotype that defines us as something bad. That goes for all minorities. Especially the African-American group.

However, if you really think about this. Cast aside all of the minority labels that were given to us and see each other for what we really are which is People of Color:

You will see that we are actually the Majority and not the Minority. People of Color are everywhere. We are in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and even on the Islands. We were always there. This is where things get even more interesting. As we communitcate with each other, you will see that we are deeply influenced by each other and we want to get to know more about each other's culture. This could be some of the reasons why America is highly looked at besides of the better life and things like that. We can actually vibe with one another, easily. However, there has been so much media manipulation that we can't really talk to each other like we should. The higher ups do not want us to even be connected with each other.

Lets face it, we all have things in common with each other. The biggest similarity is having the Minority travel all over the world and change our respectful cultures. We all have been westernized. We all have been white washed. We all want to change our color to become more accepted by the most popular race in the world right now. This is what has happened over the years. People of Color going out shopping for lightening creme and letting go of our traditional cultures. We all even have shared our cultures with the popluar minority and it has been taken over instead of being respected. We all have been mocked for our traditional cultures. You see? The higher ups wanted this. The minority enjoy this and the most craziest thing about it is...

The True Minority are not even a people. The Bible talks about this. That was literal not metaphoric. Remember, we, Colored Races, are the True Majority. The world is flipped upside down and it is up to us to flip it right side up so we can see the True Picture. Peace Guys.
