I want to talk about Hair. This is mainly for all of my sistas out there. Because of how blessed we are. We have created lots of different hair styles over the years but my favorites are Afros, Locs, and Braids.
Afros:
The most natural form of our hair. I love the fullness of it and how beautiful it looks on women and men. This means that you are not afraid to go out there and sport your natural hair. I see lots of women out there with Afros in my community and I am very proud of you guys. Keep it going.
Locs:
Another natural form when you want to turn your fro into locs. I love the way locs look and I see a lot of brothas and sistas out there rocking their locs. I think that its awesome how natural is coming back at full swing.
Braids:
Braids are also beautiful and the most effective protective hairstyle you can get. I also see lots of women out with braids. I love how the natural is coming back. This is amazing. Please keep it going.
Overall, what I'm trying to say is when we go natural and actually look at our hair; we see that our hair is not really nappy like we have been told for years. God made our hair this way and we should be proud of it and not trying to go after what society wants for us. We got to start thinking about what we want for ourselves. And that goes more than just talking about hair, but also about personality. Hair is a very big thing for women. So we all need to be supportive over our natural journeys. Men too. You guys have to be supportive of the Natural Movement. The Natural Movement is the Best Movement. Besides, our hair is apart of our culture too. Look at what we can do with our hair. No many people apart from us can do this. You know. lol.
